Highland-Goffe's Falls received an award for its work on "Brain Breaks" from the Governor's Council on Physical Activity & Health on May 27th. The school was honored for having most classroom teachers participate in piloting the program which is used to promote learning through activities that stimulate the brain with fun exercises. The award was shared by Hallsville and Weston Elementary Schools. Dr. Livingston was presented with a plaque during the presentation given by the GCPAH Awards Committee. Schools were nominated by Sue Sheehey.
